    Patient Bill of Rights

    Seonho Ha D.D.S. Inc. strives to provide quality care and service for our patients. As our patients, you have the following rights:

    • The patient shall be treated in a courteous manner with dignity and with respect for the patient’s right to confidentiality at all times;
    • The patient shall have access to emergency, incremental and comprehensive care;
    • The patient shall receive an explanation of the results of the examination, alternative treatment options, the sequence and cost of treatment planned regardless of your dental insurance benefit coverage or cost. If dissatisfied with the planned treatment, the patient has the option to pursue treatment elsewhere;
    • The patient shall be advised of any risks involved with the treatment planned, as well as any risks associated with individual procedures, including the risks or consequences of no treatment;
    • The patient shall receive continuity of care and completion of treatment;
    • The patient shall be seen as close as possible to the appointed time and have treatment rendered in a timely manner;
    • The patient shall receive a receipt for each payment the same day payment is made;
    • The patient shall have treatment provided and supervised by individuals wearing protective masks and gloves;
    • The patient shall receive treatment with sterilized instruments and have the opportunity to observe these instruments being removed from their sterile wrap;
    • The patient shall receive treatment consistent with the standard of care within the dental community.

    While we seek to achieve these levels of performance, it is possible that they may not always be reached. If we should fail to meet these standards or if you are dissatisfied with the care you are receiving here, we hope you will bring your concerns to our attention. We are also anxious to hear about positive experiences you have had and individuals who were particularly competent, helpful, courteous or who otherwise made your experience here a good one. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have that will help us to serve you better.
