I earned my Bachelor's in Political Science and my Masters in Public Policy at CSUN all while being a single mom to my 2 children, coaching youth track and field and cross country for the Calabasas Cheetahs. I have over the years, volunteered my time to the neo-natal unit at Best Friends LA, No-Kill Shelter.
